The Easy Natural Cleanse Where Your Diet Stays The Same

Our society seems to be more & more eager to find that quick weight loss trick that involves little work, but reaps many benefits. The word “detox” and “cleanse” these days seem scary to hear, because all these different methods that are a trend or a “fad” seem pretty drastic. Indeed they are. Cleanses like the “lemonade cleanse”, only drinking lemonade for a minimum of 2 weeks, and nothing else! Celery juice and apple cider vinegar cleanse, yes they get this crazy! Celebrities are even creating tea’s that promote you will become “skinny” simply by drinking their “detox tea”.

Now I am not saying these don’t provide benefits of detoxing the body, but a lot of the time they involve eating very little real food, if any, which the body needs on a daily basis. Not to mention the misleading words of “weight loss”, which heavily involves changing your diet. We naturally cleanse and detox by urinating and having bowel movements, that’s the whole reason for these normal bodily functions! It’s the foods we put in our body that may be causing us to feel the need to detox.

The human bodies daily need’s

There are four bio molecules the human body need’s to function properly; Carbohydrates, Fats, Proteins, and Nucleic Acids. We obtain these from the foods we eat. That juicy bacon cheeseburger you love, your favorite Asian food, that carb loving pasta dish, yes, all foods that are OK to love, and are needed to provide our bodies the molecules we need to grow as humans!

Vitamins and minerals essential to our health, found within the four bio molecules are vitamins A,C,D, E, calcium,phosphorus, magnesium, and iron, just to name a few. We loose vitamins and minerals during normal daily functions such as urinating and sweating. So it’s very easy and basically normal to loose essential minerals everyday.

Lemon & Warm Water In The Morning; The Only Detox You Need

Drinking lemon & warm water first thing in the morning before breakfast is a remedy in Ayurvedic medicine to help with digestion and elimination. “Ayurveda” is the term India refers to as their way to treat sickness & promote health, basically their “medicine” for healing. For instance in America and the west they use the term “Western Medicine”.

-Warm Water: warm water may seem odd to drink, but it is common in Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine. They believe in many things being warm, as that is what the body likes. Cold water slows digestion, so when it is going through the digestive process in the stomach it may not be eliminated properly. Warm water on the other hand helps promote proper digestion. Proper digestion leads to elimination, which is a crucial part to maintain proper health by removing toxins that become built up in the intestines and Liver. Other than digestion, warm water has the following benefits: improves circulation, enhanced stamina, relieves constipation, aids in weight loss, cleanses and purifies the body, and reduces body pain.

-Lemons: Other than the most common benefit we hear about Lemon’s is the Vitamin C, which is very high and important for your health, there are many others: aids in digestion, is an antioxidant that helps maintain Vitamin E levels in the body, increases stomach acidity and gastric stomach juices, stimulates liver bile production-which can relieve heartburn, high in calcium, potassium and magnesium, and supports healthy blood sugar levels.

Warm water and a squeeze of lemon juice first thing in the morning is all you need. As you can see the benefits of each part of this combination are expansive. The most noticeable benefit of this remedy you might notice is a greater increase in bowel movements. I don’t think people realize how crucial elimination is and how a build up of toxins in our bodies can create a cascade effect of not feeling well over all.

Each morning before you eat your meal, take a glass or coffee mug with at least one cup of warm water, heated either from the microwave or gently heated on the stove. Squeeze just a small amount of juice into the cup, enough liquid that you can visibly see. Than sip! Just a slight sour taste is all you need to be able to start reaping the amazing benefits of warm water and lemon.

Digestion Problems In Americans

In 2017 Healthline did a poll of 2,000 people regarding bowel movements. 47.7% said they had a bowel movement once a day. Bowel movements really should be a daily thing for our health. Almost 30% of these respondents also reported experiencing constipation at least once a month. Constipation is actually the most common digestive complaints by Americans.

Along with constipation effecting millions of Americans, more and more Kidney Dialysis centers are opening up across the Country. This is due to many American’s diet’s being very poor, whole plant based foods are hardly consumed. America is still very much a “fast food nation.” Build up of toxins in the Liver and intestines and poor elimination are all contributions to poor Kidney health.

Slowly Incorporate This Morning Habit

Consuming lemon juice is not easy due to the extreme sourness. As mentioned earlier, a small amount is all you need. I would start with a few times a week indefinitely. Who doesn’t want to feel physically better and have better health?!
